Why did Islamabad need a new airport?

Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan. The Benazir Bhutto International Airport was the primary airport of Pakistan which was kind of congested and it was not able to fulfill the requirements of a practical airport due to its infrastructure because it was of the time of independence and as Islamabad did not have a great population and the space available was of this airport.

Inauguration and construction :

"New Islamabad International Airport" was inaugurated by Shahid Khaqqan Abbasi on 1 May 2018 and this was a really old project started since many years .Around 1 billion dollars was spent for this beautiful masterpiece.

Location :

The location of the airport is simply amazing .The airport has a great location because it is far from the hustle and bustle of the city.The airport is located in Fateh Jang.

Environment :

The environment was really great and peaceful. The staff and people were really calm.

Impact of airport on the government and economy :

This airport is playing a great role in the key success of Pakistan .This is the first airport in Pakistan where an Airbus A380 can land and it is a point of pride being a Pakistani at least for me. Due to good design and architecture many airlines have arrived in Pakistan after decades.

Facilities at the Islamabad International Airport :

Islamabad International Airport gives the citizens best facilities but of course facilities always come with a price.

Relay :

Just like W.H.Smith, which is a store that provides the service of books ,magazines, souvenirs ,grab and go snacks and drinks at the metro stations across the United Kingdom and now growing internationally. This store also has some books, snacks, drinks and magazines for people and a stand for electronics and luggage.

Kaboom :

It was a toy shop which was quite attractive but you will end up spending too much money at this store but of course it looked awesome.

Discover Pakistan :

This was actually a store built to show people the souvenirs of my beautiful country Pakistan and it also contained some basic necessities for Umrah and travelling the world.

Bread & Co :

It was also a coffee shop and bakery which was great and had good prices despite being at the airport.

Coffee Planet :

As you can know from the name, it is a must-visit place for coffee addicts and is a little expensive but being at the airport it becomes just.
